Art is most fulfilling when shared with others, and this principle drives my career in Art Education. Families, adults, and young individuals can all create and appreciate art within the realms of their abilities and comfort.
Crafting lesson plans that take into account the age and skill levels of our audiences helps us effectively engage the community in ways that ensure the opportunity for new learning and dynamic and interesting conversations
CULTURE OF LEARNING
There is value in integrating science, history, music, and literature into art lessons. In my classroom, we cultivate a culture of learning, where students take a deeper look at artwork, objects, concepts, and themes. By extending the scope of my lessons across various curriculums, I not only enhance my own learning but also better equip myself to address questions and guide students through their challenges.
