TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

Through years of both learning and teaching, I've discovered that the most effective way to truly understand something is to apply it to one's own life, connecting it to personal interests. Art education, along with fostering an appreciation for art, enables us to share our passions without being hindered by barriers, boundaries, or limitations.

In my classroom, we integrate storytelling with a hands-on approach, encouraging participants to explore and discover their own answers through thoughtful questions. Art possesses a universal language that transcends barriers. Through the study of art and culture we get a glimpse into the creativity, ideas, and passions of others. Creating a classroom culture that is safe, interesting and exciting allows us to celebrate each individual's unique gifts, creativity, passions and ideas.

By intertwining history, science, writing, and literature with the appreciation of the arts, we can kindle a sense of curiosity in the minds of learners.

A través de años de aprendizaje y enseñanza, he descubierto que la manera más efectiva de comprender verdaderamente algo es aplicarlo a la propia vida, conectándolo con intereses personales. La educación artística, junto con la fomentación de apreciación por el arte, nos permite compartir nuestras pasiones sin ser obstaculizados por barreras o limitaciones.

En mi clase integramos la narración de historias con un enfoque práctico, alentando a los participantes a explorar y descubrir sus propias respuestas a través de preguntas reflexivas. El arte posee un lenguaje universal que trasciende las barreras. A través del estudio del arte y la cultura podemos observar la creatividad, ideas y pasiones de otras personas. Crear una cultura en el aula que sea segura, interesante, y emocionante nos permite celebrar los dones únicos de cada individuo, su creatividad, pasiones e ideas.

Al entrelazar la historia, ciencia, escritura y literatura con la apreciación de las artes podemos influir un sentido de curiosidad en las mentes de los estudiantes.
